Alexander Novik has extensive practical experience across various industries and is involved in the development of Pinewood LLC within the IBC Group, as part of the Board of Directors team.
Alexander Novik has experience in banking, logistics, sales of raw materials on global markets, as well as production and supply of products across different countries and continents.
Alexander has worked for well-known companies such as Wells Fargo Bank (USA), BelVEB Bank (Belarus), and global producers and exporters of potassium chloride — Belarusian Potash Company (Minsk) and PJSC Uralkali (Moscow, Riga). He has experience as a sales manager for industrial-grade potassium chloride (used in oil well drilling, animal feed, metallurgy, etc.), as well as for nitrogen and potassium fertilizers in Western Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He possesses expertise in maritime and inland logistics, coordinating production with sales, managing global networks of buyers and distributors, and expanding client bases.
In banking, he has experience in trade finance — letters of credit, guarantees, bills of exchange, etc. — serving as a manager for relationships with global and local banks, insurance services, developing new trade finance structures, and introducing new trade finance products. In banks, he worked as a client relationship manager, providing financial services to corporate clients in sectors such as chemicals, petrochemicals, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages; he handled trade finance and insurance services, client network development, and new client acquisition.
He also has experience as a field worker and agricultural machinery operator at Friday Bridge International Farm Camp (England). He is a founder of startups focused on launching businesses in Western Europe, Asia, and Africa to implement modern agricultural technologies, an area in which he remains actively involved.
