Brief information about the excursion programme
The excursion will start with the transfer from Minsk to Ptich to the Museum complex of ancient folk crafts and technologies "Dudutki". An amazing journey awaits you: a serious excursion with non-serious adventures - samogon tasting, horse riding, treating the miller. Dudutki is one of the most visited museums in Belarus, a museum-skansen. Created in 1995 by the efforts of enthusiasts headed by E. Budynas, this ethnographic museum is now one of the most visited in Belarus! Monuments of folk life, working workshops of the Belarusian manor of the XIX century are waiting for you during this excursion. You will see the only operating windmill in Belarus and taste the miller's treats; you will visit the pottery workshop and see the master at the potter's wheel demonstrating his art before your eyes; you will visit the ancient blacksmith's shop of the XIX century and you will be able to forge a horseshoe for good luck. There is also a traditional carpentry workshop with amazing tools of old masters; a picturesque bakery with the history of baking; an exhibition of vintage cars. And everywhere - ethnographic entourage and interactive action. Besides, there is a stable with eagle trotters, ostriches, wild boars and other animals. You will also be taken for a ride on ancient carriages and carriages, you will visit a picturesque picnic meadow, and you will be able to plunge into the atmosphere of a nobleman's estate.
During the tour you will be treated to 3 tastings:
- at the moonshine machine (moonshine, bread, pickle, honey)
- in the bakery (freshly baked bread, 3 types of cheese, butter, tea)
- at the mill (peasant bread with lard)
